High speed carton accumulator

The new generation INTERNATIONAL MULTIFOLD Accumulator is a servo-controlled Carton Accumulator capable of receiving flame sealed cartons from the customer's flame sealing line at rates up to 12 cycles per minute, resulting up to 300'000 cartons per hour. The standard machine is designed for all carton sizes in the folded width range of 89 mm to 200 mm, and the length range of 114 mm to 330 mm. Designs for special dimensions are available upon request.

Cartons received from the customer's discharge equipment in a shingled stream are fed up an infeed conveyor that is electronically speed-controlled via an analog speed signal supplied by the customer's discharge equipment. This enhancement allows the machine to automatically follow the speed of the production line and adjust to any speed fluctuations as required. At the exit of the infeed conveyor, cartons are dropped into a hopper for shingling in a 90-degree directional change. This system is utilized to allow the cartons to be positioned on to their side to create a carton bundle.

The slug of pre-counted cartons can now be hand packed into corrugated shipping containers or can be directed into a WRAP AROUND caser or directed to a KRAFT WRAPPER or to a fully automatic CASE PACKER. The accumulator is the necessary link for all high speed packing lines and is perfectly capable to handle the output of the new INTERNATIONAL LF-III high-speed flame sealer..

Wrap-Around Caser

Fully automatic, adjustable packing device for PurePak (57 mm and 70 mm cross section, panel width) style liquid packaging cartons.

Machine automatically feeds, erects and glues single layer End Load Style corrugated cases.  Includes automatic case closing, NORDSON hot melt system and vertical elevator to raise cases to the proper height for discharge onto the customer-supplied discharge conveyor. Also includes CTC operator interface panel and built-in troubleshooting. Optional C.E. compliance available.

Top-Loaded Case Packer

The Top-Loaded Case Packer counts and accumulates slugs of cartons from the flamesealer and transfers the slugs to a position over a previously erected regular-slotted or all-flaps-meet case.  The full grouping to be loaded into the case is then clamped and lowered into the case  which is discharged to the case sealer.
