Existing IPBM Geneva LF, LF-A, LF-B, LF-II and Royal KF 333 flame sealing machines can be upgraded to improve product quality and increase run speeds while decreasing downtime and lowering scrap rates.

Fortuna skiver

The Fortuna skiver is a computer-controlled skiver complete with a pedestal-mounted, touch-screen operator panel for fast, easy setup.  The system automatically sharpens the bell knife while running - eliminating hours of unprofitable down time.

Burner Systems

Updated burner systems, built to stringent NFPA 79 standards and utilizing state of the art solid-state certified components such as CE, UL, CSA, and EU, can be retro-fitted to older model flame sealers.

Automatic Temperature Control is available insure consistent heat application under varying run speeds

Control systems utilize redundant safety techniques including flame supervision and monitoring that prevents start-up and/or operation in the event any one of the control safety conditions is not met.

ORI-2000 Surface Cleaner

In co-operation with IPBM - Geneva / Switzerland, Spengler Electronic Switzerland developed and adapted a new type of surface cleaner for installation immediately after the skiving operation.  The system is designed for contact-less removal of matter, ranging from coarse particles to the finest dust particles, from high-speed surfaces.

The ORI-2000 systems uses negative pressure turbulence, supported by loading neutralization and alternating vibrations.  Especially critical on food products, dust particles can stick to the inside of the carton blank surface due to electro static surface charge of the PE coated carton blank.  The surface cleaner eliminates dust particles found on both the inside and the printed side of carton blanks.

The ORI-2000 is easy to install and can be retrofitted to existing flame sealers.  Systems include two cleaning heads, air ionizing equipment, suction and blowing unit, and exchangeable air filters.
